Energy Specialist

Job Description

Lion Electric is currently looking for an Energy Specialist for a full-time job to cover the Southern California area. Reporting to Commercial Operations, the Energy Specialist will work directly with the customer to support them with their charging infrastructure projects.

As a pioneer of Lion Energy division, you will meet with customers, assess their needs and provide extensive support to set up their charging infrastructure solutions. You will provide them with several tools and training in order to optimise their use of charging infrastructures.

As an Energy Specialist, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Meet current and new customers to assess their vehicle’s requirements and needs in terms of charging infrastructure;
• Offer customers a partial or full management of their charging infrastructure project to facilitate the deployment and operations of their vehicle fleet;
• Perform planning and activity reports on the various projects in progress;
• Answer questions, concerns and requests from customers received by phone, email and others;
• Work with various partners like Power Utilities, electrical contractors and others
• Master the general design and operation of electric vehicles;
• Master the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.

You will need the following qualifications and skills:

• Extensive understanding of high voltage power;
• Strong communication and customer service experience;
• Ability to set, track and meet deadlines;
• Define standards, monitor them and ensure compliance;
• Exceptional self-management and self-learning ability;
• Strong leadership and organization skills;
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and evolving environment;
• Ability to manage emergency situations and prioritize effectively;
• Resourceful and independent;
• Be required to travel across the State on a regular basis.
