As a Parts Manager you will;
Manage the Parts Department operations within the Customer Experience Center to provide the highest level of external and internal customer satisfaction while maximizing return on investment through parts sales, inventory control, and expense control.

  • Develop, communicate, enforce and monitor effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Maintain an accurate and effective parts inventory control system that includes a perpetual and/or annual physical inventory
  • Monitor and adjust inventory as needed
  • Submit all parts warranty and return claims within the required time frame to receive maximum credit
  • Create annual Parts Department goals and budget in alignment with the organization’s financial and operational objectives
  • Ensure all department tools, equipment and vehicles are in good working order
  • Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry and enforce safety requirements
  • Maintain the company’s exceptional standards for ethical business practices, professional image, customer service and employee relations and reports any circumstances that compromise the integrity of the company
  • Oversee parts operations and staff in multiple locations in California

 

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of MsOffice
  • Ability to understand ERP systems 
  • Understanding of financial principles relative to Parts Department operations
  • Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
  • Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups
  • Ability to effectively lead and work as a member of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Technical automotive knowledge (asset)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record

 

Office- Work involves sitting most of the work day greater than 50% of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally. Typing and applying pressure with the fingers and palm required. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken and written word.

Repetitive motion: Substantial repetitive movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally with force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading, primarily on a computer monitor. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

Exposure to open shop environment of humidity, heat, cold, and wet conditions.
