As one of the strongest modes of customer outreach, you leverage email to generate leads, cultivate new and returning customers and keep the Lion Electric brand top of mind.  You practice mobile-first design principles, and a deep knowledge of compliance requirements are at the base of your CRM and email savvy.  Above all, you work collaboratively across the team to ensure the email campaigns are designed and executed within the context of the overall marketing and cross-channel strategy.


As part of your daily work, you would have to:

  • Ensure email compliance with CASL/CAN-SPAM/anti-spam and privacy regulations,
  • Implement CRM best practices, clean lists, develop prospect and subscriber segmentation, improve email deliverability and data integrity,
  • Conceptualize, scope, segment, implement, optimize cross-channel journeys and content personalization strategy,
  • Collaborate with Sales to maintain a clean database and execute customer-centric campaigns:
    • Provide recommendations for new and existing campaigns including triggers, and automation,
    • Create A/B tests for campaign optimisation on many devices,
    • Measure results and optimise lead nurturing workflows and email performance,
    • Understand how the database is structured, generate queries and reports to inform the business,
    • Collaborate with marketing on cross-channel campaigns,
    • Assist team with website edits, lead generation reports, and Sales support,
  • As a CRM power user, comfortably handle change requests and be the conduit with Technology to implement changes required in the CRM platform.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or business,
  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience including CRM marketing, email-marketing, deliverability, testing, and automation,
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills,
  • Experience with CRM and email platforms (eg HubSpot, Mailchimp),Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset,
  • Experience with databases, querying data, data cleansing,
  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation, customer lifecycle stages and CASL/GDPR,
  • Analytical aptitude with a focus on making data-driven decisions.

Bonus points…

  • B2B experience,
  • HTML and CSS skills,
  • Experience with Power BI.
