As a Human Resources Director, you will provide input and assist in planning, guidance and execution strategies to reinforce and maintain a positive corporate culture in accordance with corporate standards.

As part of your daily work, you would have to:

• Respond to employee questions, concerns and inquiries.
• Serve as an HR Business partner for assigned operational Departments and/or Units.
• Manage the HR processes related to specific functional areas within HR as required/assigned.
• Insure compliance with all state and federal employment related statutes such as EEOC, non-discrimination, record keeping, etc.
• Investigate employee relation matters and recommend appropriate actions.
• Actively coach and counsel managers in people management practices.
• Manage HR programs/practices to complement the achievement of long term strategic business objectives.
• Travel to other client sites, customer depots, as needed.
• Monitor and administer performance management programs and corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence and administration of all HR policies, procedures, guidelines and operating and measurement systems.
• Monitor, participate in and drive workforce planning and recruitment activities.
• Other related tasks.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
• 10-15 years of progressive experience as HR Generalist or HR Manager, in a multinational / multicultural environment
• Working knowledge in recruitment and selection, workforce planning, and financial budgeting
• Solid understanding and experience in HR Management tools, Microsoft Office skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state labor laws
• Resilient and able to deliver in a demanding and changing environment
• Must have the ability to work with people at all levels within an organization
• Strong communication skills
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to properly handle confidential and HR sensitive information
• Flexible, open minded, fair and balanced judgment
