Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Advisor supports the growth of Lion’s teams within the defined state while providing a wide array of services. The Human Resources Advisor acts as a partner in various HR situations and issues and actively works to create and develop human resources management strategies.


As part of your daily work, you would have to:

  • Manage employee records,
  • Play an advisory role with employees and managers for all general questions,
  • Contribute to talent acquisition operations,
  • Take part to the onboarding process of new employees,
  • Coordinate skill development activities (internal and external training, performance reviews, etc.),
  • Provide counselling and expertise in work relations management,
  • Take part to the organization of various corporate social events,
  • Participate to the development of various programs for employees,
  • Ensure application and updates of human resources department policies and procedures,
  • Participate to various continuous improvement projects and processes of the department,
  • Perform other related tasks.

What you need to succeed in this position:

Knowledge

  • Proficiency with the MS Office / MS 365 suite;
  • Good knowledge of the labour standards and of occupational health and safety regulations;
  • Knowledge of an HRIS and/or ATS system, an asset.

  • Ability to communicate efficiently;
  • Capacity to prioritize;
  • Ability to efficiently organize work to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to exercise diplomacy and discretion;
  • Strong interpersonal abilities.

  • Versatile and flexible.

Studies and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree specialized in Human Resources Management.
  • Five to seven years of experience in a similar role and in a manufacturing sector.
