The Application Supervisor - ERP/MES maintains strong relationships with plant managers, business analysts and users to ensure the implementation of module deployments and integration, as well as user training. They will also organize and manage super user training. This is a management role reporting to the global corporate group.


As part of your daily work, you would have to:

  • Supervise the ERP-MES team for flexible resource allocation to meet the plant's needs.
  • Ensure that the platform setup respects the company's standards.
  • Assess the plant's ERP and MES application requirements.
  • Work with the core team to ensure smooth deployments in the plant.
  • Help develop new products.
  • Review and analyze trends in requests and reported issues on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop strategies and action plans to train and develop the team's skills.
  • Maintain good relationships with service providers.
  • Prioritize projects with the core leadership team to achieve plant objectives.
  • Help improve collaboration and knowledge sharing between teams to work in Agile mode.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate ERP and MES standards as agreed upon with the global ERP-MES management team.

What you need to succeed in this position:

Knowledge

  • Excellent knowledge of ERP, manufacturing systems, SQL databases and SSRS reporting

  • Good understanding of business needs and can assess complex network and security issues

Studies and Experience

  • College diploma in Computer Science
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in similar tasks with an ERP
  • Experience in the automotive industry an asset
  • Experience with an MES an asset
