Reporting to the Training Manager, the Training Agent's role is to teach work methods and techniques to new production staff, including assemblers, inventory/store clerks and technicians in the plant. They also help the operators who need task training on the various workstations. Providing ongoing theoretical and practical training for all production staff is an integral part of this position, in collaboration with the training development team.


As part of your daily work, you would have to:

  • Present the onboarding and integration training.
  • Provide both technical theoretical and workshop training to the production staff in the plant.
  • Communicate safe and effective work methods.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.
  • Encourage all production staff to develop their skills and keep the competency matrix up to date.
  • Support operators in task training.
  • Help build technical training content.
  • Participate in a variety of training activities and projects.
  • All other related tasks.

What you need to succeed in this position:

Knowledge

  • Good teaching skills with ability to transmit knowledge well
  • Can teach plant personnel, whether in a classroom, a hands-on workshop or directly on the production line
  • Excellent basic manual skills
  • Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • Asset: Knowledge of the transportation or electric vehicle field

Studies and Experience
