Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the Project Manager will plan, follow up, manage and respect deadlines of various purchasing projects. They will work with everyone on the purchasing team and in a multi-functional context to ensure that project objectives are met.


As part of your daily work, you would have to:

  • Plan purchasing projects with the department's buyers.
  • Help define project objectives.
  • Prepare project rollouts and timelines.
  • Implement the project governance process.
  • Follow up on project deliverables and activities.
  • Continuously work with other departments to provide quality service levels by reducing errors and improving productivity.
  • All other related tasks.

What you need to succeed in this position:

Knowledge

  • Bilingual (French and English)
  • MS Office Suite expert
  • An integrated management system (ERP)
  • Ticket management system

Studies and Experience

  • College diploma or bachelor's degree in purchasing or procurement, an asset
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in procurement in the manufacturing sector
