ApplyJOB SUMMARY
The Functional Safety (FS) Specialist will help the Advanced Engineering Group meet the ISO 26262 automotive safety standard requirements. They will be the reference in functional safety for the group's projects. They will oversee the analysis (HARA, FSC, etc.) and development process, and help stakeholders design, execute and test the functional safety elements.
With a solid understanding of the ISO 26262 standard, the FS Specialist will move the company in the right direction for the functional safety of components and vehicles.
They will also help build a robust cybersecurity. They will propose new measures to be adopted to comply with the IS0 21434 standard.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise the design and test teams so they produce the right ISO 26262 work duct.
Review the teams' work product for quality.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that actions taken are consistent with FS and cybersecurity.
Recommend strategies for creating a clear FS and cybersecurity work process.
Identify areas of improvement and propose solutions (gap analysis).

Experience with V-development processes for systems, hardware and software (requirements, design, implementation, verification, testing)
Bilingual (English and French)

Training and Experience
University degree in electrical, computer or mechanical engineering
