As part of your daily work, you would have to:

The Application Engineer role is a hybrid position that supports sales and engineering on all technical matters. The ideal candidate specializes in assisting clients with integrating and validating all new equipment to meet or exceed Lion Electric standards. 

  • Work closely with clients, sales, and engineering team to align customer requirements and use-cases to engineering requirements and development activities.
  • Assist with negotiating client product specification to support use-case while also meeting technical requirements.
  • Reading and generating engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Develop innovative solution to technical matters related to equipment integration.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationship with clients, customers, and colleagues.
  • Track industry trends, innovations and identify new related opportunities.
  • Assist as need with shows and sales training.
  • Execute any other related tasks.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree or something equivalent
  • 5 or mores years’ experience in medium or heavy-duty truck engineering, or equivalent
  • Experience with 3D CAD design; Solidworks or Equivalent
  • Experience in Trucking Industry, Electric Vehicle, or Advanced Clean Transportation Industry, or Related Industries
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Creative, Proactive, and Autonomous
  • Have a Valid Passport and Able to Travel as Needed throughout the USA
  • Natural drive and curiosity to continually improve, self-learn products and markets
