In the context of a growing manufacturing company, the Senior Advisor – Global Compensation is a Human Resources partner on all compensation issues. You will develop, implement and improve diverse, innovative compensation and benefits strategies, practices and programs to deliver an outstanding experience to our employees and candidates both in Canadian and the US.

As part of your daily work, you would have to:

  • Support Human Resources Partners, Talent Acquisition, as well as Managers in their compensation challenges and decisions;
  • Create, implement and continually improve global compensation policies and procedures;
  • Lead the development of compensation and benefits programs leading to talent acquisition and retention;
  • Build short and long term executive compensation programs, as well as building annual information reports;
  • Oversee salary evaluations and internal pay equity analyses;
  • Manage the annual salary review cycle in collaboration with the relevant teams;
  • Administer group insurance and retirement programs;
  • Monitor market trends and propose innovative solutions to achieve objectives;
  • All other related tasks.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial relations, human resources, actuarial science or related field;
  • 5 to 7 years' experience in a position specializing in global compensation;
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset;
  • Extensive knowledge of global compensation best practices in Quebec and North America;
  • MS Office Suite and MS 365;
  • Good understanding of the Labour Standards Acts;
  • Ability to work in a bilingual environment;
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate and structure results effectively;
  • Can juggle multiple projects and priorities to meet objectives;
  • Tactful and discreet;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Professional with good judgement;
  • Resourceful and innovative;
  • Flexible and open.
