As part of your daily work, you would have to:

  • Assist in developing industry leading training content using PowerPoint that will be used in both instructor led and web-based learning environments
  • Develop a deep knowledge of our products, and the systems and components used on the products we manufacture
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Proficient in setting up and maintaining a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Travel to customer locations to train their technicians
  • Assist with content review and creation of training materials on the new products our company is working on
  • Assist with training new Field Service Technicians on our products
  • Consistently adhere to our branding and marketing standards
  • Assist in the creation of instruction “how to” videos
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • College degree in automotive or bachelor’s degree in training and development (any other relevant field will be considered)
  • 5 + years of experience in a technical training role (automotive related is a plus)
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Knowledgeable about safe work practices, Lock Out Tag Out, and Hight Voltage Safety
  • Proficient in setting up and maintaining a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Attention to details 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills 
  • Ability to work on and handle multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Ability work cross-departmentally 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, credibility, and act with integrity
  • A self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills
  • In this role, traveling is required to deliver in person training
