Under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, the shipping and receiving clerk will have to

ensure the smooth running of the tasks, as well as the health and safety component at work

 

As part of your daily work, you would have to:

· Ensure compliance of receipts and shipment of goods;

· Ensure the supply of the various production lines;

· Ensure the management of efficiency in its assigned sector;

· Ensure compliance with company procedures and policies to ensure compliance with quality standards;

· Promote health and safety in the workplace and maintain a hazardous work environment;

· Apply and comply with security rules at all times;

· Apply and comply with company policies and their quality system.

· Process PO’s in company system.

Knowledge

· Knowledge of full Microsoft Suite is a must.

· Knowledge of Syteline by Infor program is an asset

· Intermediate typing ability. (role will require a good amount of computer work processing PO’s for majority of day.

Studies and Experience

· Experience in warehousing

· Relevant experience with ERP or other similar systems

· Experience with scan gun technology

· Experience with an inventory system

Other

· Forklift driver's certification an asset

· Be in good physical shape means sometimes handling parts weighing 50 lbs. or more

  • 1 or 2 years of experience working in similar function
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Requires inventory/warehousing/receiving/shipping computer skills such as to retrieve data, look up information, receiving and returning product on PO.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy while dealing with a high level of repetitiveness.
  • Responsible for employee compliance to safety requirements on a daily basis
  • Supportive and active participation in continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Exhibit positive attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Must be a US Citizen at time of application
    Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to move around the warehouse for multiple hours a day
  • Walking, lifting, bending, stooping and kneeling
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job require frequent use of a computer monitor.
