Under the supervision of the Manager - Logistics, the Coordinator manages the transport and logistics of several operations within the company. He contributes to the smooth running of transport operations of the aftermarket department  by carrying out follow-ups, documentation and all other necessary procedures.

As part of your daily work, you would have to:

  • Take reservations with carriers and couriers
  • Follow up with carriers, drivers and couriers.
  • Make delivery and pick-up appointments.
  • Produce export documents.
  • Ensure custom compliance on all shipped or import goods
  • Maintain key performance indicators.

What you need to succeed in this position:

Knowledge

  • Mastery of the MS Office suite;
  • Knowledge of an integrated management system (PGI/ERP), an asset.
  • Knowledge of specialized transportation, an asset.
  • Knowledge of customs documentation.
  • Having contact with asset based carriers

Skills and Attitudes

  • Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to manage priorities well.
  • To show initiative.
  • Demonstrate autonomy.
  • Demonstrate an analytical mind.

Studies and Experience

  • College degree in transportation, logistics or customs service and compliance.
  • 3 years preferably at as a dispatcher, 3PL, or freight broker.
