Reporting to the Head of LionCapital Solutions, the specialist of vehicle financing solutions will be responsible for guiding Lion Electric customers through the process of analyzing and selecting financing solutions tailored to their needs. You will play a central role between the customer, the financial partners and the sales team in order to offer a first class service. You will also play an important role in shaping LionCapital Solutions’ portfolio of financing solutions and internal processes.

As part of your daily work, you would have to: 

  • Act as the expert on LionCapital Solutions’ portfolio of financing solutions, including the vehicle financing program and carbon credit monetization solutions, etc.;
  • Execution lead on individual financing transactions, acting as quarterback between Lion sales team, customers and financial partners;
    • Manage day-to-day opportunities and transaction flow;
    • Participate in client meetings to discuss financing solutions;
    • Responsible for execution of transaction documentation
  • Go to resource for Lion sales team and customers for any questions related to product offering and specific transactions;
    • Participate in the development of tools for sales force to promote financing solutions;
    • Conduct training with sales force on product offering.
  • Participate in the development and enhancement of LionCapital’s portfolio of financing solutions;
  • Participate in the development and improvement of internal processes related to financing programs, including risk management;
  • Manage internal administration of financing programs;
    • Develop, monitor, and manage pipeline of opportunities;
    • Administration of the vehicle financing program;
    • Prepare internal reports with key performance metrics.
  • Any other related tasks.

What you’ll need to succeed: 

  • College or Bachelor degree in finance, business administration or other related field;
  • At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in equipment financing in a business-to-business environment;
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of equipment financing, specifically in a B2B context;
  • Ability to serve clients across the Canadian & American markets;
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset that allows to navigate several priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with a high level of professionalism and a drive to exceed customer expectations;
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to tailor creative solutions;
  • Ability to organize work efficiently to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to work with diplomacy and discretion;
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and cultivate strong interpersonal relationships;
  • Be open-minded and agile in a constantly evolving environment.
