Reporting to the Senior Service Director of North America. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Relationship Manager to join our team in the heavy-duty electric vehicle industry. The primary responsibility of this role is to build and maintain strong relationships with our network of internal and external dealers and service providers, facilitating effective communication and collaboration between our organization and our dealer/service partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the heavy-duty vehicle industry, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of driving business growth through dealer relationships. 

In your daily life, you will have to: 

1. Dealer Relationship Management: 

  • Foster and maintain positive and productive relationships with our aftermarket network of dealers and service providers. 

  • Serve as the main point of contact for dealers, addressing their needs, concerns, and queries effectively and efficiently. 

  • Regularly visit dealerships to understand their operations and identify areas of improvement or collaboration opportunities. 

  • Collaborate with dealers to develop joint business plans and strategies that align with our overall business goals. 

 

2. Sales Enablement:  

  • Provide product knowledge training to dealer sales teams to enhance their understanding and ability to effectively sell our heavy-duty truck products. 

  • Support dealers in developing and executing effective marketing and sales strategies to promote our products and drive business growth. 

  • Identify and leverage opportunities to enhance dealer performance and profitability through sales incentives, promotions, and co-marketing initiatives. 

 

3. Market Analysis and Reporting: 

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify potential business opportunities or areas of concern. 

  • Analyze dealer performance metrics, such as sales data, market share, and profitability, to evaluate dealer performance and identify areas for improvement. 

  •  Generate regular reports and presentations to provide insights on market conditions, dealer performance, and suggestions for improvement to management. 

 

4. Cross-functional Collaboration: 

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure effective communication and alignment with dealers on product updates, promotions, and business strategies. 

  • Act as a liaison between dealers and the organization, conveying feedback, concerns, and suggestions from dealers to relevant departments. 

 

5. Internal Lion Service Network alignment 

  • Ensure all internal process are followed by Service Teams 

  • Audit work orders for correct format and ensure all relevant information is present

What you need to succeed in this position: 

  • Proven experience in a dealer relationship management role in the heavy-duty truck industry or a similar sector. 

  • In-depth knowledge of the heavy-duty truck industry, including market trends, competitor landscape, and dealer operations. 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with dealers at all levels. 

  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of facilitating win-win solutions. 

  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret market and sales data to drive decision-making. 

  • Ability to travel regularly to dealer locations and industry events as required. 

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a focus on driving business growth through effective dealer relationships.
